Counseling
I’m deeply passionate about helping individuals find their path to healing and well-being. With extensive experience in the counseling field, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside many clients on their journeys toward recovery and growth. My expertise spans a range of specialties, including:

- clinical mental health counseling
- clinical mental health consulting
- mental health disorders: anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorders
- eating disorders
- trauma
- addiction
- school counseling.
I also assist those struggling with impaired functioning and activities of daily living (ADLs).

As a Qualified Supervisor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, I bring a compassionate and holistic approach to every session. My journey began with a transformative internship in mental health and eating disorders at a treatment center, where I worked with clients at residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient levels. Now, entering my seventh year as a primary therapist, I’ve supported clients and their families as they navigate the complexities of mental health and co-occurring addictions, helping them embrace a life in recovery.

In my private practice, which I’ve nurtured for over five years, I’ve had the honor of working with individuals facing various challenges, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma, PTSD, ADD/ADHD, bipolar disorders, borderline personality disorders, and more. My approach is highly adaptable, using a blend of therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs. Whether it’s cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, or person-centered therapy, I strive to create a safe and empowering space for growth and healing.

I also believe in the power of innovative techniques like cognitive reframing, mindfulness, and the empty chair technique, among others, to help clients gain new perspectives and develop resilience. Additionally, I work closely with EMDR-trained counselors and am actively pursuing my own certification in EMDR to further enhance my practice.

I am committed to comprehensive care, which includes the careful administration and interpretation of clinical assessments. These tools, such as the Eating Disorder Inventory, Beck’s Depression and Anxiety Inventories, and the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Checklist (PCL), among others, provide valuable insights that guide our therapeutic work together.

Above all, my mission is to connect with each person I work with on a deep, human level, offering support, understanding, and the tools they need to thrive. Your journey is unique, and I’m here to walk it with you, every step of the way.
